Mobile vet care for the Central Coast and surrounds
by appointment
Every pet deserves comfort, dignity and love right to the very end. Because the final days matter most.
Why choose
Comfy Critters Home Vet?
As our pets grow older or unwell, care becomes less about chasing cures and more about offering comfort, love and gentle support.
I’m Dr Allie, a mobile veterinarian offering in-home palliative, comfort and end-of-life care for pets across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Northern Sydney areas.
I work with ageing pets, pets with ongoing health challenges, and families who want a kinder, more peaceful way to support their beloved companions in their final chapter. Whether your pet needs pain relief, quality of life support, or a calm and loving goodbye, I’m here to help - every step of the way.
No stressful car rides, rushed appointments, or sterile clinics. Just quiet, compassionate care in the place they feel most at ease - home.
Here’s what you can expect:
Unhurried visits – plenty of time to talk, ask questions, and create a care plan that supports both you and your pet.
Gentle, low-stress handling – always fear-free, always kind. I got at your pet’s pace to keep them calm and comfortable.
Comfort-focused care – whether your pet is ageing, unwell or declining, we’ll focus on what matters most: quality of life, comfort and connection.
Peaceful, loving goodbyes – when the time comes, I’ll help you say goodbye with calm, dignity and love - right at home.
The final chapter can be full of softness, connection and peace.
I’d be honoured to walk that path with you

In home euthanasia
Saying goodbye is heartbreaking, but it can also be peaceful, beautiful, and full of love. In the comfort of your home, surrounded by familiar smells, soft blankets, and the people they love most, I help pets pass peacefully and without pain. I’ll guide you with care, compassion and all the time you need.
-
Palliative & comfort care
When a cure isn’t the goal, care still matters deeply. Palliative care focuses on keeping your pet comfortable and content - managing pain, anxiety, appetite, mobility, dignity and more. Together we’ll create a personalised plan that supports your pet’s quality of life at home, for as long as possible.
-
Quality of life consults
Not sure how your pet is really going? I offer unhurried, gentle and in-depth assessments to help you understand what your pet needs now, and what lies ahead. We’ll talk through changes you’ve notices, explore options for support, and plan next steps.
-
Aftercare coordination
After saying goodbye, I’m here to support your through the next steps. I can help organise cremation, transport and memorial options with trusted aftercare providers, taking care of the practicalities with care and respect so you have the space to honour your pet in peace.
-
Holistic & natural therapies
Comfort care can take many forms. I offer a whole-pet approach that may include gentle therapies like nutrition support, CBD oil, supplements and lifestyle changes. These can work alongside traditional care to support comfort, mobility and wellbeing in later stages of life.
-
Telehealth consultations
Sometimes you just need to talk things through. I offer telehealth appointments for follow-ups, advice and check-ins so you’re always supported by someone who knows your pet. Whether you have a question about their comfort, medications, or quality of life, I’m here for you.
Meet Dr Allie
Caring for animals has always been at the heart of everything I do. But my journey to becoming a vet wasn’t a straight line. Before founding Comfy Critters Home Vet, I worked as a science communicator, a national park ranger, and a high school science teacher, sharing my love of animals and the natural world with people of all ages. From classrooms to coastlines, my career has always focused on education, connection and care.
As a vet, I bring together clinical experience, a deep respect for the human-animal bond, and a love of teaching. I help pet owners feel supported and informed during some of the most meaningful moments in their pet’s life.
I’ve worked in general practice, emergency clinics, and mobile vet care. But my true passion lies in lies in supporting senior pets and the families who love them.
I’m currently completing the IAAHPC Certification in Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, part of my ongoing commitment to deepen my knowledge and offer the most thoughtful, evidence-based support I can.
When I’m not caring for pets, I’m usually training for Strongman and Olympic Weightlifting competitions, hiking to soak up sunshine and views, or snorkelling in search of secret underwater worlds.
